2023 Election : Elrufai Seeks Support For APC, Appeals For Unity

Governor Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna State has appealed to Nigerians irrespective of religion, tribe or any differences to massively support the Presidential Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming election to reposition the country.

He made the plea during an event organised by Christians Northern Nigeria Political Forum CNNPF for the endorsement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President in 2023

Governor Nasiru El-Rufai described Tinubu as an experienced leader that has shown talent and commitment in transforming Lagos State.

According to him, Tinubu is a leader who would be fair and equitable to all, adding that, it is not about religion or ethnicity but capacity , competence and commitment to the people.

“I appeal to you not to listen to any sentiment and support him, i know all the aspirants and i know their capacity no one can match him”

Malam Nasiru El-Rufai stressed that, Tinubu is a Muslim while his wife is a senior pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God and have been together for over thirty years of marriage.

According to him, the Northwest governors agreed that after eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari , the presidency should go to the southern Nigeria which is in the interest of North, progress and unity.

In a remark, Wife of the All Progressive Congress APC Presidential Candidate, Oluremi Tinubu described the unity of Nigeria irrespective of ethnic and religious differences as a plan of God.

She expressed satisfaction with the turn out of the APC’s supporters regardless of their religious, tribal and ethnic differences among them.

“I really don’t know what to say than to say your support today is quiet overwhelming for me. I sat here and wonder that this are my Muslim, Christians brothers and sisters” .

Also speaking, Deputy Governor of Kaduna state Dr Hadiza Balarabe , assured that they would take the message of unity to all nook and cranny of the state while campaigning .

In his speech, the coordinator of the Group Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF) Ibrahim Itodo described Bola Tinubu as a visionary leader with great ideas, policies, strategies.

Ealier, the National Women Leader, Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF) Christina Bature also explained that members of the Forum believed in Jagaban and his goodwill for all Nigerians.

She expressed optimism that Bola Tinubu will deliver on the mandate to restore lasting peace, modernize the education Sector, improve and safeguard agriculture and return all IDPs to their communities.

The entourage of Sen Remi Tinubu was accompanied by the governors of Kano and Katsina, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Aminu Bello Masari.
