KNHA Reaffirms Commitment To Support Kano Community Promotion Council

Kano State House of Assembly has reiterated it’s commitment and dedication to support Kano Community Promotion Council to uplift the state to international standards.

The Speaker, KNHA Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, stated this while receiving members of Kano Community Promotion Council at the Assembly Conference hall.

According to him, the House would give the necessary cooperation to the council to carry out it’s mandate of uplifting the standards of living among Kano residents.

The Speaker pointed out that Kano state House of Assembly would revisit the budgetary provisions of the council, to enable it accomplish it’s objectives.

Earlier in his remarks, Chairman of Kano Community Promotion Council, Alhaji Hafizu Sani Mai Daji said they were at the House to strengthen the existing cordial working relationship with the legislative arm of government.

He commended the Speaker and members of the assembly for their support and cooperation to the Council.

Also speaking, Makaman Bichi, Alhaji Isyaku Umar Tofa, expressed satisfaction with the warm reception, and assured the lawmakers that the Council would do everything possible to promote the State, according to terms of reference of their working schedule.

Radio Nigeria reports that Kano State government inaugurated the 22 member Kano Community Promotion Council on 5th December 2022, to stimulate the community spirit underpinning the overall development of the State.
