The Nasarawa State Governorship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party PDP Mr David Ombugadu, has promised free health insurance for indigent people of the state if elected in the next years general election.
Mr. David Ombugadu stated this at the party’s campaign rally in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
He said that health is wealth as such, he would give priority to ensuring a healthy society, adding that widows, orphans and other vulnerable in the state would be the first to be considered in the health insurance if he is elected as Governor of the state.
The Governorship Candidate of the PDP also disclosed that, he was already sponsoring over twenty thousands people across the thirteen local government areas on National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS.
He also promised to construct the road from Doma local government to Nasarawa local government to serve as bye-pass through to Abuja to connect the area with Federal Capital Territory FCT.
In his remark, the State Chairman of PDP Mr. Francis Orogu, expressed confidence of wining the Nasarawa West Senatorial seat vacated by Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Mr Francis Orugu explained that with the resignation of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the Senator Representing Nasarawa West the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC could not conduct bye election to fill-in the vacancy due to lack of time.
He explained that already the seat is vacant and APC does not have a candidate due to litigation as a result of injustice done to thier aspirants during their primary election at the zone.
The PDP Chairman said that thier party had presented candidates that have the interest of thier people at heart.

Mr. Labaran Maku Maintained that The Presidential candidate of their Party Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a detribilised Nigerian, well experienced, tested and trusted in various positions.
He also appealed to the people of the to vote for David Ombugadu as the Governor of Nasarawa State comes twenty twenty three.
