Gunmen on Monday attacked the family house of a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), in Katsina State, killing his mother and younger brother.
The spokesman for the state police command, Gambo Isah, who confirmed the incident to journalists on Tuesday said, “The incident is true but we don’t have details yet.
According to him, “Our officers have gone there but I cannot say more than this for now.”
The two victims were said to have been buried according to Islamic rites.
