Kano State Fire Service has confirmed the death of three siblings due to fire outbreak at Kabuga Yan Azara, Gwale local government area.

Narrating the incident, Public Relations Officer of the agency, PFS Saminu Yusif Abdullahi explained that the inferno involving a one storey building occured on Monday night.

He maintained that, the fire which started from the top of the building claimed the lives of three siblings ;6 year old Saddiqa Salisu, 15 year old Abdulsamad and their sister Fatima Isiyaku.

Saminu Yusif pointed out that, the fire had spread to other parts of the building, due to the inability of residents to inform Kano state fire service on time.

He charged the public to use fire and electric appliances with caution, and report any case of drowning, fire incident, road accident among others to the nearest fire service office.
