Kaduna State Government has called upon the newly inducted Corps Members in the State to assist in the fight against social ills and the development of positive transformation at the grassroot level.

Governor Nasiru Elrufai stated this during the swearing in ceremony of Batch C Stream one twenty twenty two Corps Members Orientation Course in Kaduna.

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Human Service and Social Development, Mrs Hafsat Baba charged them to involve in Community Development Services projects to better the lives of those at the grassroot.

He assured the intending Corps Members of the state continued support and protection in the areas of thier welfare and security upkeep respectively.

Earlier in his speech, Kaduna State Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps, Mr Adoba Abel Oche told the Corps Members that a call to National Service is for Integrity, commitment, team work, patriotism and Nation building.

‘you should adjust yourselves to the physical, psychological, leadership training during the three weeks orientation exercise’, the state coordinator said.

Mr Adoba Abel Oche explained that after the orientation camp exercise, they will be posted to areas where they are most needed like the rural areas, education, infrastructure and agricultural development geared towards national integration, economic transformation and youth empowerment.

He applauded the Corps Members for responding positively to all the activities in the camp while insisting that all members must participate.

Radio Nigeria reports that one thousand two hundred Batch C Stream one Corps Members took oath of allegiance in the service of their fatherland.
