Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao at the graduation ceremony

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao says the execution of sundry military programmes has enhanced the quality of skilled manpower for the Airforce.

He stated this at the graduation ceremony of sundry military courses for officers, airmen and airwomen held at the Airforce Institute of Technology-AFIT Kaduna.

The Air Chief charged the graduands to deploy their professional competences to sustain and even surpass current intensity of air operations until the country is completely rid of criminal elements.

Air Marshal Amao commended the Commandant for improving the institute’s curricular of the sundry courses aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Commandant of AFIT, Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Aminu Yakubu

Earlier in his address, Commandant of AFIT, Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Aminu Yakubu explained that despite the expansion and increase in its mandate, the institute has not lost focus on its primary role of producing quality technical manpower for the Airforce.

He pointed out that the management of the Institute is doing everything possible to enhance the quality of training programmes as well as providing a conducive environment to ease learning for the students.

Air Vice Marshal Yakubu appealed to the Air Chief, to provide accommodation for military staff and students to uplift their morale for excellent delivery of training activities.
