Kano Hisbah To Sustain Anti Smuggling Operations – Commander General

Kano State hisbah board says, it has recorded tremendous achievements through strategies and coordinated operations, in the fight against smuggling of beer and intoxicants, into the state.

The Acting Commander General of the board, Malam Hussain Ahmad Chediyar Kuda, made the indication during end of month briefing held at the Hisbah headquarters sharada Kano.

Malam Hussaini, who doubles as director general,Kano state hisbah board, maintained that, the board will continue to deploy all available resources to track, chase and apprehend smugglers.

He pointed out that, the board had suceeded in apprehending a container truck loaded with assorted beer, in addition to evacuating thousands of street beggers across major metropolitan roads, bridges, markets, nooks and crannies of the state.

The Acting Commander general, however stressed that, the board would not relent in its efforts of sanitizing Kano free of all forms of vices, through encouraging good deeds and forbidding all immoral acts in the society.

“Hisbah in the state is been up and doing to enforce smugglers zero tolerance on smuggling beer into Kano along the neighbouring state borders, sent a signal warning to smugglers of beer as well as their stakeholders to steer away from Kano”

While appreciating hisbah personnel for their commitment and dedication to duty despite challenges, Malam Hussaini urged them to be law abiding citizens and be good ambassadors of the Kano state hisbah board.

“Am calling on hisbah corps to discharge their duties with all objectivity so as to sustain and achieve the desired objectives “

The acting commander general, commended Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the entire people of Kano state for their strong support, and prayers to the kano state hisbah board, which had gone a long way in uplifting the standards of the board.
