Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU have been advised to reconsider their stance and embrace dialogue in resolving their differences.

The General Supretendent of Deeper Life Ministries Pastor William Kumiyi gave the advice while interacting with Newsmen in Minna.

Pastor William Kumiyi lamented that the seven months old strike embarked upon by ASUU, over inability of government to meet up its demand has caused serious set back to the educational development of Nigeria.

According to him, dialogue remain the only viable option in resolving their differences stressing that fighting each other cannot solve the problem.

He however explained that both parties must be ready to pay the price of peace to address the lingering crisis with a view to forging ahead.

Correspondent Aliyu Lawal reports that upon arrival in Minna, Pastor William  Kumiyi had paid a visit to the former Military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and Niger state Governor Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello.
