Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria Kaduna State Chapter has appealed to Kaduna State Government to employ more of its members to bridge the existing gaps in the health sector.

Chairman of the Association, Comrade Ibrahim Lawal Suleiman made the call during the state delegate conference held at Tudun Wada Kaduna.

He explained that the community health practitioners in Kaduna state were trained to work in both urban and rural communities.

Comrade Ibrahim Lawal Suleiman also commended the Kaduna State government for being the first in the country to adopt full implementation of bringing primary health care under one roof initiative.

Declaring the lecture open, the Commissioner for Health Dr. Amina Mohammed Baloni urged the community health practitioners to adhere strictly to the ethics and codes of the profession which would help in improving health sector in the state.
