President Muhammed Buhari is presiding over the National Security Council meeting at the State House, Abuja.

Among those present are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation; Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of staff to the President, and Babagana Monguno, the National security adviser.

Others are Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-general and minister of justice; Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior; Geoffrey Onyema, minister of foreign affairs; Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi, minister of police affairs, and Bashir Magashi, Minister of Defence.
