The Corporate Affairs Commission CAC in collaboration with the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria BRIPAN have organised” Accelerated in-house training for Corporate Affairs Commission’s Staff ”

In a statement, the Head of Media CAC, Mr Rasheed Mahe explains that the training which is themed: Insolvency Framework and Processes will be conducted in two streams with over 80 participants in attendance.

The participants have been drawn from within the Commission and other Stakeholders with the Registrar General/CEO, Alhaji Garba Abubakar in attendance.

In a remark, the BRIPAN President Chimezie Victor C. Ihekweazu represented by the Vice President, Okorie Kalu, SAN thanked the Registrar General for the opportunity to organize the training in line with their objectives and therefore pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The statement reports that BRIPAN was founded in 1994 as a not-for-profit organisation, which focused attention on restructuring the insolvency space in Nigeria through training, capacity building, legislative and regulatory engagement, and advocacy, for several decades.

It plays a leading role in the training of Insolvency Practitioners, Regulators, Judges and intending Insolvency practitioners in Nigeria.

The Association was recently accorded statutory recognition in the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020.
