Nigerian comedian, Bovi, has renovated the University of Benin Staff School in Edo State, where he attended primary education.

The renovation includes classroom, repainting, restroom reconstruction, rewiring and replacement of fans in classrooms.

Accompanying him to the grand event, colleague and friend in the industry, Francis Agoda aka I Go Dye stated how humble he is being part of the occasion.

“Today I accompany my brother #officialbovi in commissioning this project. It’s really inspiring to remember one’s humble beginning and give back to nurture it. He said

“Bovi has shown a great sense of purpose and gratitude by renovating this magnificent educational project, his primary school, University of Benin Staff School this will inspire the younger generation in years to come.”

In his appreciation, Bovi appreciated the deputy governor of Edo state Comrade Philip Shuaibu for attending the occasion.

“I say thank you to one of the most functional Deputy Governors in Nigeria, Comrade Philip Shuaibu for squeezing the commissioning into his busy schedule. He only heard of the event 12 hours prior to its opening and promised to be there. Thank you sir!”

“I also want to say a very big thank you Professor Lilian Salami, the vice chancellor of UNIBEN. You graciously encouraged the renovation when it started. And you played a motherly role in ensuring the reopening went well.”

“To my friend and colleague I go save, you kept pushing that government presence was needed and you did everything in your power to get us audience with the deputy Governor in a matter of hours. Most importantly, thank you for always being my silent supporter from day one. Always urging me forward”.
