Popular Arewa hip-hop singers and TikTok celebrities have been dragged to Upper Sharia Court, Bichi Division, Kano for alleged indecency.

Although the copy of the direct complaint was not made available to , inside sources said the offences border on indecent songs and Tiktok skits liable of corrupting the morals of the society. 

however obtained a copy of the letter written to the police by the Sharia court seeking investigation into the complaints before the prosecution.

Those affected in the letter addressed to Kano State Commissioner of Police are Mr 442, Safara’u, Dan Maraya, Amude Booth, Kawu Dan Sarki, Ado Gwanja, Murja Kunya, Ummi Shakira, Samha Inuwa and Babiyana.

“Sequel to the complaint lodged by Muhd Ali Hamza Esq, Abba Mahmud, Esq, Sunusi I. Umar Esq, Abba, A.T Bebeji Esq, B.I Usman Esq, Muhd Nasir Esq, L.T Dayi Esq, G.A Badawi & Badamasi Suleiman Gandu Esq.

“I am directed by the presiding Upper Sharia Court Judge, Bichi Division Kano to write and kindly request you to conduct investigation against the above mentioned suspects for proper action.

“The copy of the letter of complaint is hereby attached for your perusal please.

“Your usual cooperation is highly appreciated,” the letter was signed by the registrar, Aminu Muhd,.
