The identity of the stowaway found Inside an aircraft at the Murtala Mohammed Airport Terminal Two, MMA2, Lagos has been revealed by the operator of the airport terminal.

He is Rasheed Mufutau, 14 years old from Kwara state and lives in Badagry in Lagos.

He was found unconscious inside one of the aircraft of United Nigeria and he is currently safe in the custody of the airport authority.

Investigation revealed that he gained access into the airside through an opening at Ile- Zik FAAN perimeter fence along Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.

A statement by Oluwatosin Onalaja, Head of Media at Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, operators of the MMA2 terminal, says the boy told investigators that he was tired of the country and wanted to travel out.

According to the statement, the stowaway said, he passed through the General Aviation Terminal One, Air Force hanger and walked down to MMA2 where he hid himself at the Apron, adding that, he saw staff on duty at GAT and Air Force hanger but dodged them and passed through the bush.

The MMA2 spokesman said, he became unconscious as a result of the drugs he took and a lack of ventilation.

He has been taken to the FAAN Crime Office for further questioning.
