Nakudu Wins Jigawa Central Senatorial Zone Primary Bye – Election

Sabo Muhammad Nakudu has been declared winner of the Jigawa central senatorial zone primary bye election.

The Chairman of the election committee,  Engineer Shehu Umar Dange who announced the election result said Sabo Nakudu scored 375 votes to emerge winner of the bye election.

In his acceptance speech, Sabo Muhammad Nakudu expressed gratitude to Governor Badaru Abubakar and the state APC leadership for giving him another opportunity to serve people of his constituency.

He also reassured his commitment to ensure the victory of the party during the forthcoming general election.

Also speaking the state chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel commended delegates, security agents and the National Electoral Commission for ensuring a hitch free by election.

It could be recalled the by election was conducted following the death of Alhaji Tijjani Ibrahim Kiyawa who was APC Senatorial candidate in Jigawa Central Senatorial zone.  

Radio Nigeria reports that the election was witnessed by representatives of the National Independent Electoral Commission and other stakeholders.
