The Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ Kaduna State Chapter has inaugurated the Invicta FM Chapel with Mr. Ango Bally as the pioneer chairman of the chapel.

Chairman of the State Council, Haj. Asama’u Halilu made this known during the inauguration and swearing in of the new Executive Committee Members of the Chapel in Kaduna.

Represented by the Secretary, NUJ Kaduna State Council Mr. Santos Sanga, the chairman who assured them of a cordial working relationship, expressed satisfaction with the composition of the Executive members which cut across gender, ethnic and religious lines

In a key note address after the oath taken, General Manager of Invicta FM Mr.Toyin Alabi enjoined the newly sworn in executives to live up to the expectations of the union and assured them of a cordial Management-union relationship.

Toyin Alabi who appreciated the Kaduna State NUJ for honoring the invitation to inaugurate the chapel’s Executives, pledged continued loyalty to the mother body toward ensuring the set goals and objectives is achieved.

He commended the Head of News, Mr. Didam Laah for making the inauguration a huge success, saying the event which was timely came at a critical time when the country is preparing for the 2023 general elections.

“Prepare yourselves for the task ahead, as much will be expected from you”, he added.

Giving his first inaugural speech, the pioneer Chairman, NUJ Invicta FM Chapel, Mr. Ango Bally promised to discharge his duties to better the welfare of his colleagues to ensure they enjoy the benefits of their labour.

While calling on other executives members to give him maximum support to move NUJ Invicta chapel forward, he charged them to be up and doing in discharging their assigned duties.

Ango Bally is the Chairman, Southern Kaduna Journalists Forum, and also a one time Financial Secretary of NUJ, New Nigerian Newspapers, NNN, Chapel.

The newly sworn in executive members included: Chairman- Ango Bally, Vice chairman- Kevin Madu, Secretary – Rilwan Jibril, Assistant Secretary – Anthony Samuel, Financial Secretary – Amen J. Kantyok, Treasurer- Bilkisu Abubakar and Auditor – Faisal Ridwan.
