ALGON Chairman Donates Standing Podiums To Jigawa Polytechnic

Association of Local Government Employees of Nigeria ALGON Jigawa state chapter has donated standing podiums to the state Polytechnic Dutse. 

Presenting the second batch of 20 units of the podiums at the institute, the chairman Alhaji Bala Chamo said being a product of the Polytechnic was necessary to complement the government’s efforts toward enhancing teaching and learning.

He presented 10 units of standing podiums to the institute before, and now an additional 20 while pledging more assistance would be delivered to the institute for the lecturers to have a conducive atmosphere.

Chamo who is also the chairman of the Dutse municipal council and Chief lecturer at the state Polytechnic stressed his commitment to the educational development of the institute and would continue to offer contributions. 

Speaking earlier, the Registrar of the Polytechnic, Mallam Iliyasu Hussaini Jahun commended the Chairman for the kind gesture.

He added that the donation did not come as a surprise considering his commitment, patriotism and selfless service to humanity and urged others to emulate the gesture.

“It wasn’t surprise with the kind gesture of Bala Chamo, this is not the first time and we are proud of him and will continue to associate ourselves with his zeal and commitment towards complimenting government efforts in boosting the morale of education”.

Also speaking, the Deputy Rector, Mallam  Abbas Jahun expressed appreciation on behalf of the management of Jigawa State Polytechnic Dutse for the donation and pledged for the judiciously use of the donated materials.
