The last batch of 328 pilgrims from Kwara State that performed the pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia have been airlifted back home .

The pilgrims landed at Ilorin International Airport via Max Air on Wednesday.

The pilgrims were received at the Ilorin International Airport by some top government officials, members of the state pilgrims Welfare board , families , friends and well wishers .

Addressing newsmen on the exercise, the Amirul Hajj, Dr Awal Ibraheem expressed appreciation to the State Government for ensuring a successful Hajj exercise.

Dr Ibraheem noted that the state did not lose any pilgrim during the operation, adding that no pilgrim experienced any sickness that was beyond the capacity of the medical team.

A total of 1, 409 pilgrims including officials performed the 2022 Hajj with the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board from Kwara.
