The newly appointed Minister of Transportation, Mr Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, has assumed office.

Mr Mu’azu Sambo resumed on Wednesday at the Ministry, with his Minister of State Counterpart, Prince Ademola Adegoroye.

While taking over from the former Minister of State, Transportation, Senator Gbemisola Saraki who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Mines and Steel, Mr Sambo said he was happy to be back home having started his career in the maritime industry in I984.

Mr.Sambo pledged to work with the entire team in the Ministry to ensure the continuous growth of the Transportation sector.

In her remark, Senator Gbemisola Saraki assured the Minister that he had a great team of Directors in the Ministry to work with, and therefore he should not entertain any fears at all.

Muazu Jaji Sambo is a engineer by profession and born in Taraba State.

Muazu Sambo holds a degree in Engineering with work experiences in various capacities as an engineer prior to his confirmation as the minister of Power.
