Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, says, it will conduct a free, fair, credible, inclusive and conclusive exercise in this Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.

The Chairman of the Commission, Professor Muhammud Yakubu who gave the assurance at the stakeholders’ meeting in Osogbo noted that such could only be achieved with the cooperation of the people.

Professor Yakubu announced that all non-sensitive materials had been deployed to the 30 local governments of the State, while all the sensitive materials will be deployed accordingly.

The INEC Chairman also hinted that for the first in Nigeria, People With Disabilities would be involved in election management as 35 corp members with Special needs would be working as ad-hoc staff at various stages of the election.
