In Zamfara State, Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba Elkana says plans are been made to revamp security architecture of all correctional centers in the state.

In a statement signed and available to Radio Nigeria in Gusau by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Mohammed Shehu said, the CP has today met with the Comptroller Nigeria Corrections Service, Zamfara State Command and reviewed the existing security of correction centers within the state.

He noted that, the Command had assured robust partnership to rearrange the security architecture of the corrections facilities and other vulnerable infrastructures in the state.

CP Ayuba while assuring the Comptroller of the command ‘s commitment in protecting the facilities, called on members of the public to support the police with credible information on activities of criminal elements in the state.
