The Commander General of the Nigerian security and civil defense corps NSCDC Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi has changed the personnel of the corps to remain committed and dedicated in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities.

Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi stated during the passing out parade of newly recruited 506 officers and men of the corps in Kano.

The Commander General Represented by Assistant Commander General professor Isiyaku Iliyasu said the Corps remain committed and dedicated to ensuring that adequate security of lives and properties was being provided to the general populace.

He charges the newly recruited personnel of the corps to be disciplined and dedicated in the discharge of their duties.

Dr. Ahmed Audi Charged them to shun any act of corruption and nepotism, stressing that the corps has zero-tolerance for corruption.

In his remarks, the commissioner of police in kano CP Sama’ila Shuaibu Dikko Commended the doggedness and zeal of the newly recruited officers.

He said security agencies in kano are working in synergy with one another, stressing that working together was the secret behind the peaceful coexistence experienced in Kano state.

Earlier Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state represented by the secretary to the state government Alhaji Usman Alhaji Applauded the efforts of the Nigerian Security and Civil defense corps in maintaining peace and stability in Kano state.

He appealed to the newly recruited officers and men of the corps to be committed and dedicated in the service of their fatherland.

506 officers and men were newly recruited, which includes 35 -ASCs, 40- AICs, and 431- Corp Assistants.

The ceremony was graced by the state commandant of NSCDC Adamu Idris Zakari, Heads of security agencies, and other stakeholders.
