Jigawa state government has donated four Vehicles to the management of Federal University of Technology Babura.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony, the state Commissioner of Education Science and Technology, Dr Lawan Yunusa Danzomo said Governor Badaru Abubakar directed the ministry to hand over the vehicles to the University to facilitate the smooth take-off of the Institution.

Danzomo urged principal officers of the University to work hard for the realization of the objectives behind the establishment of the institution.

Responding, the vice chancellor of the University Professor Sabo Ibrahim Birnin Kudu commended Governor Badaru Abubakar for allocating Six Hundred Hectares of land for University permanent site, in addition to the provision of the four vehicles.

He added that, the academic programmes will commence in September this year.

Radio Nigeria reports that the four vehicles were allocated to the offices of vice chancellor, registrar, librarian and bursary.
