Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has presided the swearing in ceremony of two newly appointed state High court judges.

Speaking during the ceremony held at the conference hall government house Dutse, Governor Badaru Abubakar charged the new judges to discharge thier duties with the fear of God and in accordance with law.

He therefore commended stakeholders in the state judiciary for choosing the appointee’s on merit.

Badaru also congratulated the judges for the appointment and prayed Almighty Allah to guide them.

Radio Nigeria reports that those sworn in include Barrister Mustapha Bello Adamu and Barrister Auwal Yau Gumel.

The ceremony was attended by state Deputy Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini, members of the state executive council as well as wishers.
