In its effort to protect the lives and property of pilgrims, the Jigawa State Police Command says it will deploy conventional mobile police, State Intelligence Bureau-SIB in strategic places at the 2022 hajj operations in the state.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Lawan Shi’isu Adam disclosed this in an interview with Radio Nigeria Correspondent in Dutse, the state capital.

According to him, the strategic places include hajj camp and Dutse International airport amongst others.

The PRO pointed out that, the command would also collaborate with security agencies and other critical stakeholders to ensure hitch free exercise.

He also called on them to be patience and be security conscious and conduct themselves in an orderly manner while at the Hajj camp and airport.

DSP Lawan Shi’isu therefore urged the state intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state and abide by the laid down rules and regulations of the Saudi authorities.

He added that, the state Commissioner of Police warned the officers deployed to be civil and exhibit high level of professionalism during the 2022 hajj operation in the state.
