Islamic School Gets Boost With befitting Modern Edifice In Zaria

A 48-year-old Madarasatul Anwarul Islam School in Zaria City, Kaduna State has been remodelled with a befitting modern edifice by Fidelity Bank as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The school, an alma mater of the Emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli was founded in 1972 by the Emir’s father, late Magajin Garin Zazzau, Alhaji Nuhu Bamalli.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Director, (North) in the Bank Alhaji Hassan Imam said four blocks of 10 classrooms with offices and toilets have been renovated and remodelled to suit the modern architecture.

He explained that the choice of the school for the gesture was also to compliment the sacrifices of the Emir who served for a long time in the bank.

Imam added that as part of the bank’s quest toward enhancing financial inclusion and promoting commercial activities, a hybrid Automated Teller Machine ATM was also installed at the Emir’s palace to ease and boost commercial activities.

Earlier, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, while appreciating the Fidelity bank’s laudable gesture, encourage business and commercial merchants to patronize the bank as a way of applauding their efforts in Zaria.

Bamalli urged his subjects to ensure judicious use of the facility by giving it maximum protection against vandal.
