A gubernatorial aspirant from Katsina State ahead the 2023 polls, Salisu Majigiri has expressed optimism that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the zone is formidable and will win all the North West states in next year’s general elections.
Majigiri, who was one of Katsina State’s delegates to the North West PDP Congress on Monday May 9, 2022, said that the success recorded speaks volumes.
” This congress shows that PDP North West is strong and united and ready to win 2023 elections. We are winning all the seven states including my state Katsina,” he said.
According to him, during the recent local government elections, All Progressives Congress (APC) was rejected across the 33 council areas in the state, a pointer of things to come.
“PDP was voted for massively and and they went to SIEC and announced APC as winners,” he said.
The Katsina Guber Aspirant thanked God for giving them.opportunity to hold a successful congress.
” Let me congratulate the winners, because only one position is being contested for, others were based on consensus, which shows the unity in our great party,” he said.
