Executive Secretary of National Commission for Nomadic Education, Professor Basher Usman

The Executive Secretary of National Commission for Nomadic Education, Professor Basher Usman has identify youths empowerment as a panacea for peaceful coexistence in the country.

Professor Bashir Usman stated this at the opening of a 3-day Capacity development workshop on skills Acquisition for Nomad youths, in Kaduna.

Represented by a Director in the commission, the Executive director emphasized the need for Nomadic youths to acquire skills and become self reliant.

Professor Bashir Usman further called for the enrollment of three point five million out of school children nationwide for the betterment of the society.

The Executive Secretary of the Nomadic education urged participants at the workshop, drawn from Kaduna, Kebbi, Enugu, Cross River, Borno, Gombe, and Oyo States to put into practice the knowledge they would acquire to improve their lives.

He called on Nomad youths to be law abiding and always obey constituted authority.

Earlier, the Director, skills development of the commission, Dr Abdul Umar Ardo, said the workshop would acquaint the participants with necessary skills to prevent them from engaging in criminal activities.
