The Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Niger state says it has uncovered plans by the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to take advantage of current security challenges in three local government councils to rig the twenty twenty three general elections.

State Chairman of PDP Barrister Tanko Beji said this while addressing members of the party at the Niger East Senatorial District Zone B expanded zonal executive stakeholders meeting in Minna.

Barrister Tanko Beji explained that the PDP will constitute a committee of experts to counter such plans to achieve maximum results.

He however assured contestants aspiring for any elective position under the platform of PDP of a level playing field to actualise his or her dream without any hitch.

He also cautioned party executives against collecting money from contestants under any guise as any one found flouting such directive would be decisively dealt with to serve as deterent to others.

Barrister Tanko Beji would also wants members of PDP in Niger state to come out enmasse to obtain their voters card to enable them elect credible leaders of thier choice in subsequent elections.

Former Senator from Niger state Hajiya Zainab Kure expressed satisfaction that PDP is waxing stronger and advised party members to consolidate on the unity achieved to make the difference.

The event was peaceful and orderly.
