Alhaji Kamilu Aliyu Musa presenting a gift to the NULGE President

Jigawa State Government has paid over thirty nine point four billion naira terminal benefits and monthly pension from 2015 to February this year.

The Executive Secretary of the Sate Local Government Contributory Pension Scheme Board, Alhaji Kamilu Aliyu Musa disclosed this while receiving the National President of NULGE, Comrade Ambali Akeem Olatunji who was on a two-day official working visit to the state. 

He explained that of the amount, over fourteen billion naira was paid as terminal benefits.

Kamilu Aliyu further said over twenty-five point one billion naira was paid as monthly pension during the period under review.

According to him, 3,376 workers and 5,967 pensioners benefitted from the scheme while commending Governor Badaru for the financial and moral stride to the scheme at all times. 

Earlier, the National President of NULGE expressed delight over the activities of the scheme.
