Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru El-Rufai has Felicitated Christians on the occasion of Christmas celebration.

The Governor in his Christmas message to Christians prayed to God Almighty that the blessings and lessons of Christmas spread through the State and move people of the state forward.

According to him, the festival celebrates the birth of the Prince of Peace, love, tolerance and forgiveness that the birth and example of Jesus Christ so profoundly teach.

“We celebrate Christmas in difficult times. Despite the currents that buffet us, we should keep hope alive as we honour the Prince of Peace”

Malam Nasiru Elrufai urged residents to commit to peace and can strive to be better than they are today.

He pointed out that, every citizen has a duty of personal responsibility as part of the collective action that is essential to curbing the spread of Covid-19.

The governor appealed to all Kaduna residents to comply with the current public health regulations and practice personal responsibility by wearing facemasks, observing social distance and avoiding large gatherings.

Malam Nasiru Elrufai however called on all Kaduna residents to join hands with Government to make the State peaceful and safe for everyone by upholding peace and harmony.
