Adamawa State Government has formally unveiled its agribusiness support programme to create more jobs and boost the internal generated revenues (IGRs).

The Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, unveiled the agribusiness at an investors’ dinner in Lagos where 100 Billion Naira Agric bond was launched.

Ahmadu Fintiri explained that the homegrown Agribusiness Programme was the first of its kind in the capital market in Nigeria.      

According to the governor, the Adamawa agriculture support programme is expected to boost economy of the state with improved IGR while also providing 750,000 direct jobs and 1.5 million indirect jobs for the youths.
