Doctors Without Borders have donated medicines worth millions of Naira to support the Jigawa state government in the fight against the recent cholera outbreak across the state.

The New Country Director Ahsan H. Abbasi who paid a courtesy visit to the Jigawa state Governor Abubakar at government house Dutse said , Doctors Without Borders will continue to partner with the state government to ensure that more people get access to qualitative health care delivery.

He said the state government has always been supportive to Medicine Sans Frontiers in their effort to provide health services to pregnant women and patients suffering from VVF.

Responding, Governor Badaru Abubakar commended Doctors Without Borders for their contributions to health care service delivery across the state.

According to him, many people in Jigawa and neighboring states have benefited from their program of free health care services at the Jahun General Hospital.
