President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed delight over the election of Senator Andy Uba to bear the flag of APC in the November gubernatorial election in Anambra State.
Narrating his interaction with President Buhari, Senator Uba said the President congratulated him, and told him how he yearned to see him succeed in yielding Anambra to the APC.
While speaking on the recent cross-overs of some members of other parties to the APC, the Chariman of the party’s Caretaker Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, said the leadership qualities of President Buhari and his sincere infrastructure drive persuaded them change course.
Governor Buni said the party was making frantic efforts to mend broken hearts and get all members on the stream of unity of purpose to enable it succeed in most of the forthcoming elections.
