The newly Inaugurated Chairman, Barrister Junaidu Abubakar

The Nigerian Bar Association, Gusau Branch has inaugurated its Newly elected executives who will serve for two years tenure.

During the inauguration, Justice Bello Muhammad Tukur Gummi administered the Oath of Office to the new officers which have Barrister Junaidu Abubakar as Chairman and Barrister Ibrahim Ali as Secretary.

Others were Bello Muhammad Galadima, Vice Chairman; Bello Aliyu Gummi, Asst Secretary; Habiba Nuhu Ribadu, Treasurer; Muhd Sani Tahir, Financial Secretary; Ahmad Muhd Abubakar, Welfare Secretary; Surajo Garba Aliyu, Legal Adviser and Siddiq Wakkala as Provost while the position of Social Secretary was Vacant.

On her Remarks, the State Chief Judge, Justice Kulu Isah Aliyu advised the new executives to work closely with their senior colleagues to benefit from their wealth of experience and called on them to ensure cordial relationship between the Bench (Judiciary) and the Bar (Lawyers) as the are from one family.

In his acceptance speech, the New Chairman of the NBA Gusau Branch, Barrister Junaidu Abubakar Mafara who took over from Barrister Umar Asho, vowed to carry all along and to work in accordance with the constitution of the Association to ensure success of the aims and objectives of the NBA.

Barrister Junaidu also expressed his determination to ensure Human Rights protection and to work closely with all stakeholders professionally at the state and National level.
