National Orientation Agency NOA says it will commence the enumeration of class one to three pupils benefitting from the federal government homegrown programme.

The Jigawa state Director of the agency, Alhaji Haruna Shuaibu Karamba disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse.

He said the headcount was aimed at arriving at the actual figure of pupils benefitting from the programme and provides a reliable database for the government.

Alhaji Shuaibu Haruna Karamba added that forms would be distributed to each pupil to fill and take fingerprints.

According to him,over one million pupils are benefitting from the programme in jigawa state.

The Director said the agency had paid an advocacy visit to the Emirs and other stakeholders to solicit for their support and cooperation in the preparation of the census.
