Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State has sacked all his Special Advisers except that of Security matters.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Acting Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe in Gusau, the state capital.
It stated that, the decision was in line with the recent defection of the Governor to APC and to allow for an in-depth search of competent hands in the administration of the State, irrespective of political affiliations.
Accordingly, all the affected Special Advisers should hand over the affairs of their respective offices, and Government properties in their control to their next officers.
The Governor also appreciated their contributions in running the government while in office adding that the decision is with immediate effect.
