The Senior Special Assistant on Security to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police Christopher Dega State has been killed.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer Plataeau State State Gabriel Ubah said AIG Dega was shot in an isolated restaurant at Bukuru in Jos.
He said investigations so far appeared that he was trailed and shot.
Ubah however announced that some suspects have been arrested in Connection with the murder as investigation is on going.
