Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has inaugurated Kwarra – Sisim Baki – Farin Ruwa road in Wamba Local Government Area.

The 15.5 kilometre project, costing over N2.49 billion, would open up all the rich potentials endowed in the area especially, tourism, agriculture and the Farin Ruwa Dam project which was taken over by the federal government.

The governor also flagged off a 17 kilometre, N2billion Gudi – Moroa road in Gudi, Akwanga local government area, which would link farming communities to neighbouring Kaduna State; as well as the the flashing of the construction of 57 kilometre Anguro – Bassa road in Kokona Local Government Area.

He said the projects were in line with the implementation of his policy document; The Nasarawa State Economic Development Strategy, NEDS.

“Access road network remains a cardinal factor towards enhancing economic growth and prosperity given the enormous agricultural and mineral endowment in the rural areas across the state”, Governor Sule said.

He said the state would continue to initiate programmes to harness natural resources for economic growth.
