A fire outbreak has killed two people at Zoo road kano
The inferno which occured at 10:10 pm on Friday night affected two flats with four people trapped in the building.
The four family members,45 years old Salisu,his wife Nafisa, his Sister Maryam and four years old daughter Fatima, were trapped in the building and later Salisu suceeded in jumping through the balcony with four years old Fatima.
While his Wife Nafisa and his sister Maryam were burnt beyond recognition after all efforts to rescue them proved abortive.
Some of the eye witness who spoke to Radio Nigeria expressed deep sorrow due to the death of the two women,saying they were seen trying to locate the door and calling for help as the fire engulfed the entire building
The public relations officer of the kano state fire service Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi confirmed the incident.
He explained that the dead bodies have been handed over to C.S.P Awaisu Sulaiman of Sheka Police division,while others were recieving treatment at Aminu kano teaching hospital.
