The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has frown on the breach of the covid-19 protocols especially at the General Aviation Terminal One, GAT Lagos by passengers, drivers and other airport users.
To this end, the Authority says to ease facilitation and enhance safety at the terminal, all passengers, drivers and other airport users, must adhere strictly to all laid down protocols on Covid-19 at the airport.
General Manager, Public Affairs, FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu in a statement again emphasised that arriving passengers are to walk down to designated car parks to board their vehicles and drivers are permitted to pick up arriving passenger at the frontage of the terminals.
According to her, all drivers must park and wait inside the car parks, while arriving passengers walk down to the car parks to board their vehicles.
While for departing passengers, drivers are only allowed to drop off passengers in front of the terminals and are not permitted to wait for any reason after dropping their passengers, as it is only a “Drop Off” zone.
