Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, have urged parents to inculcate the right religious values in their children to insulate them against negative influences.

The Governor and the Emir stated this at the closing of Kwara State Qur’an competition in Ilorin.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Mamman Sabba – Jibril, Governor AbdulRazaq noted that the right religious education should be inculcated in the children to enable them become responsible citizens.

AbdulRazaq assured the State Committee on National Qur’an Recitation Competition of adequate support when the need arises.

He commended the committee’s members and the competitors for making the state proud in the past competitions.
