Federal Road Safety Corps in Kaduna says it has taken steps to check illegal parking in the state.

Sector Commandant of the Corps, Hafiz Muhammad Tarauni made this known While speaking to Radio Nigeria in Kaduna.

Hafiz Muhammad Tarauni said the completion of the trailer park at Marabar jos would reduce congestion in that corridor.

He said the effort of Kaduna state government to address the problem of illegal parking on the road through the construction of a parking lot for trailers was highly commendable.

The Commandant noted that the Corps on its part would continue to enforce rules and regulations for the safety of motorists on all roads in the state.

He further expressed appreciation to the federal ministry of works for filling potholes on the road from Rigana to Kaduna down to Tashar yari among others.

Tarauni therefore appealed to road users to corporate with the site engineers so that set objectives would be achieved.

He also confirmed that the FRSC in Kaduna would soon embark on massive enforcement of Covid 19 preventive protocols especially amongst commercial drivers as contained in an Executive Order isued by the President.
