President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians of full and transparent implementation of the 2021 budget.
Speaking to newsmen in Daura, after the registration and revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress, the President said the budget aptly captured some of the visions of the administration, and concerted efforts would be put in to ensure effective implementation.
He explained that ministries, departments and agencies had been directed to strictly adhere to the provisions of the budget to achieve the desired target.
The President maintained that the administration was always ready to make the balance sheet available for Nigerians and the National Assembly, as government had nothing to hide.
President Buhari said the administration had given more attention to agriculture to diversify and strengthen the economy.
He expressed appreciation to Morocco for the support given to Nigeria in producing fertilizer , adding that there were 42 companies currently producing fertilisers in the six geopolitical zones.
