Communities in Atyap Chiefdom of Zango kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State ravaged by crisis have been assisted with building materials to enable residents reconstruct damaged homes and other properties.

The building materials was donated by National Emergency Management Agency NEMA with support from Member Representing Zango/Jabba federal constituency of kaduna state, Mr. Amos Magaji in Zango Kataf LGA.

At the occasion, the Federal Lawmaker said nothing can replace loss of lives, pointing out that the gesture was meant to help beneficiaries rebuild their homes and other properties.

Mr. Amos Magaji who urged beneficiaries to graciously accept the items, emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence.

Also speaking, NEMA Coordinator in kaduna state Alhaji Abari Imam explained that the support by Federal Government to rebuild communities destroyed in Atyap Chiefdom of Zango Kataf LGA was made possible by Amos Magaji representing the area at the National Assembly.

He said the zeal shown by the lawmaker towards securing intervention for his constituents was the driving force that propelled Government to also render assistance to the communties.

In a speech, Chairman of Zango Kataf Local Government Area Dr Elias Manza represented by the vice chairman Yakubu Tonak who appreciated the federal government and the lawmaker for the support, urged beneficiaries to apply the items for the purpose they were meant for.

Meanwhile, items donated at the event included bundles of zinc, bags of cement, ceiling sheets, nails as well as motorcycles.
