Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has called on Nigerians to be law abiding and peace loving for sustainable development of the nation.

In a statement, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Alhaji Auwalu Danladi Sankara stated this in Dutse,

It explains that Governor Abubakar Badaru says during a meeting between the Nigerian Governors Forum and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, in Akure, Ondo State.

The statement notes that there is much instigation on both the south and northern regions by warmongers which seek to set Nigerians against one another. 

It further stated that security issue has affected all parts of the country, while pointing out that the Nigerian Governors’ Forum will not tolerate criminality in any form.

According to the statement Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State  did not order Fulani herdsmen out of the State, rather wants to identify criminals operating in the forests.

It adds that some bad elements are trying to incline the policy as tribalistic in nature, emphasizing that Nigerians must learn to live in peace.

Similarly, notes that the country can only develop in an atmosphere of peace and mutual trust.
