Niger state government has pledged to resist any attempt targeted at sabotaging the actualisation of it’s multi million naira Bobi Grazing Reserve.

The Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello made the pledge when he visited the reserve in Mariga local government area for an on the spot assessment.

Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello who acknowledged that there were increasing cases of armed banditry and other criminal activities in some parts of Niger state, however said government would do what it takes to secure the place.

According to him, the state is not unaware that the bandits may be out to undermine progress being made on the thousand hectares facility, stressing that a high level security network that will safeguard both government and private investment has been put in place.

The Governor charged recognised fulani community in Bobi Grazing Reserve to embrace and key in to the Ruga settlement programme for their socio economic prosperity, the state and Nigeria at large.

Speaking, Leader of the fulanis, Malam Ardo Abubakar expressed confidence that the project will be a huge success.

He added that they were convinced with the genuine efforts of Niger state government toward transforming the Bobi Grazing Reserve to reality.
