The Conference of Alumni Association of Nigerian Universities (CAANU) has appointed Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli as it’s Patron. 

Speaking at the decorating and presentations of plaque to the emir in his palace as the Patron of CAANU, the National President of the Association, Professor Ahmed Tijjani Mora the Wakilin Maganin Zazzau said they have written  a letter to this effect on the 9th of September 2020 to the late emir and he accepted it but death has over taken the event. 

Professor Mora said despite the  sad event of the demise of the emir Shehu Idris, the association accepted to  maintain it’s stand and present the new emir Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli as the Patron. 

The National President said the association believe that, the diplomatic experience the new emir of Zazzau  has will benefit the emirate, state and the nation in general. 

Responding, 5th emir of zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamako expressed his appreciation for recognizing him worthy to be their Patron. 

The emir assured the executive members of  his redness to assist them whenever the need arise. 

Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli was decorated with the CAANU emblem and plaque.
