A Human Rights Non-governmental organization House of Justice says it is raising the sum of One Hundred Million naira to support the education of children and welfare of Internally Displaced Persons in Southern Kaduna.

Chairman and Chief Executive of the organization, Barrister Gloria Ballason who stated this while briefing Newsmen in Kaduna says already, it’s partners in Twenty Five other countries have expressed interest to contribute to the project.

She said the organization has carried out a needs assessment in the affected areas and identified the immediate priorities of the people which are Education support and rebuilding of their homes.

“The needs assessment we carried out has shown that the biggest need and priority of the victims in Southern Kaduna is to be able to return back to their homes. As it stands residents of over 100 communities have been sacked”

She therefore appealed for the services of volunteer counselors, psychologists, trauma Assistants and teachers to help facilitate the assistance in the affected camps.

“We request for volunteer counselors, psychologists, trauma assistants and teachers who can work in camps and the affected communities. We kindly request for donations that will go into rebuilding houses in the communities and for the support of means of livelihood and education
